The Club of the Year Award is determined by consideration of the following criteria and weightings:
The highest weightings go to:
- attendance at Long Course State Championships
- attendance at Short Course State Championships
- attendance at BPS meets
- participation in aerobics
- number of qualified Masters Coaches
Medium weighting:
- attendance at Relay Meet
- attendance and completion of technical courses
- safety audit/report
- annual report
- officials working at other’s carnivals
- using Clubs Online for registrations
- club newsletter or website
Low weighting:
- affiliation fee paid by due date
- number of club sessions offered
- nomination of members for awards
- Vorgee million metre awards
- incorporation of club
